Palestine-Israel, The smell of the nearing victory the joint struggle contribute to so much to.

The Israeli media is nearly obsessed with the escalation of the B.D.S. as if they know things they do not disclose. Both supporters and rejectors of the end of the occupation start to regard it as immanent and not in the far future. A section of the Israeli capitalist elite which is suffering from the boycott and fear its escalation start to organize to accelerate the end of occupation. 100 of them traveled for the Dabus conference and official organization was established. On the ground, it seems that the efforts of the Israeli state forces escalate their repression of on going struggles and make more efforts to transfer villagers from strategic locations. Bil'in will celebrate the ninth anniversary of the ongoing struggle on the 28th of February.

14.2.2014 weekly protest Israeli forces have brutally suppressed today’s protest in Nabi Saleh as they fired large quantities of teargas leading to the suffocation of tens of protesters including children and women in the protest. The protesters chanted for loving Palestine and against the Israeli brutal occupation and its refusal to any forms of justice and peace.
Israeli forces have also fired rubber coated bullets at the peaceful protesters and declared the area a closed military zone. The protesters who wanted to reach the land threatened by confiscation were not allowed to reach the area and were met with teargas. Clashes between the youth and Israeli forces erupted and lasted for hours. The protesters have also protested the blocking of the entrance to Nabi Saleh with a large metal gate set up by Israeli forces and the Israeli destruction of a tent set up by the villagers next to their land.

The Israeli army suppress the march of Kafr Qudoom causing many suffocated cases Today in K Q march nearly 50 soldiers participated suppression the people who share in it by tear gas canisters and sound bombs and metal bullets covered with plastic. The marsh as usual began after praying with participation of hundreds from the people and friends from international movements and Israeli friends. The army shoot many canisters directly towards us sometimes from guns other times from the jeep. We as people of KAFR QUDOOM believe in our right to use our road free and also believe in such kind of struggle not only to open our road but to end occupation. At the same time and although we face suppression in many kinds from the Israeli army arresting, storming the village, damaging the houses, check points we will not gave up

South Hebron hills

Harassment of Palestinian farmers and shepherds in South Hebron hills by both settlers and the army continues. These forces take over their lands and prevent them from accessing it. This coming Saturday, February 22st, we will be heading again to our activity in several locations in the area, accompany Palestinian farmers and shepherds to their lands and help them stand up for their rights. Without the presence of activists, many farmers don't get the chance to cultivate their land. There is a direct link between the number of activists who come to accompany the farmers and their ability to live a relatively normal life.

Hebron

"Hebron marked today the 20th anniversary to the Baruch Goldstein massacre in the Ibrahimi mosque. At dawn of 25 February, 1994, Baruch Goldstein, a settler and a physician, opened fire on hundreds of Muslim worshipers at the mosque, killing 29 of them. In Hebron/Khalil, there will be a protest today to open Shuhada Street. The street which was the market street, and the social center of the city, is closed to Palestinian movement since the Goldstein massacre in 1994, including to its own residents who are obliged to climb to their roofs, and exit their homes through adjacent streets. The protest to open Shuhada street are amongst the hardest demonstrations that I had experienced. The army violently disperses the protestors, and the sound of shooting echoes loudly between the houses. But no less difficult than the tear gas, stun grenades and bullets, is the sight of a checkpoint in the middle of the street, in the middle of everything, the utmost meaning of the word occupation."
Friday- February 21, 2014 About two thousand protested in Hebron today, activists from various political parties and organizations, international activists, and Israeli ones (including anarchists) came together in defiance of this continuous closure and restriction of the mobility of Palestinians in their city, calling to open Shuhada street.
The IOF responded with barrages of tear gas, rubber-coated steel bullets and stun grenades deployed against demonstrators in an attempt to disperse them. Several injuries reported. One demonstrator was taken to hospital after sustaining a head injury. Five people were arrested today (Friday) afternoon, and more than 13 were injured during the annual Open Shuhada Street protest organized by Youth Against Settlements in Hebron in memorial of 20 years since the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre.

Palestine-Israel, Just another week of joint actions against the occupation and transfer*

The struggle at Ein Hiljeh continued till Thursday night. The Israeli state forces harassed the activists along the week but due of the mounting world pressure refrained from arresting the activists even during the eviction only detained for short time few of them. Instead, they hit and injured dozens of them. The mounting effects of the B.D.S. start to panic the Israeli elite and significant part it start to pressure the government to yield to the imperial demands. The Israeli media is contemplating on it daily. The ongoing grass roots struggle continue though not invigorate yet. The struggle against the crawling transfer - mainly in the Jordan valley, the south of Hebron hills and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem continue. The anarchist communist organization Ahdut increase its involvement in the joint struggle against the occupation with the Bil'in grass root popular activists.

Bil'in

Surprises in Bil'in never end. Half an hour at the gate and a march along the wall to the Abu Lemon grove and no tear gas grenades or shock ones thrown on us. 17 Israelis + twenty internationals and dozens of Bil'iners, complained about the missing weekly dose of tear gas to which we are addicted. Only after repeated requests by using stones when we almost given up, we got a dose of the tear gas accompanying by the usual end of the demonstration barrage of it. Six members of Ahdut waved proudly black flags and redNblack ones.

On 22nd, 24th and 27th January 2014, settlers from Itamar invaded the neighboring Palestinian village, Beit Furiq, and threw stones at people, cars and homes.
The residents tried to get them out and called the Civil Administration (IDF) to complain about the attacks. The soldiers who arrived shot at the residents and wounded two of them. Then those soldiers evicted the settlers and detained none of them.

Palestine-Israel, The joint struggle continue with self assurance and without illusions

At the beginning, the joint struggle was focused on specific routes of the separation fence. There were some achievements and many villages dropped from the regular struggle. The hope for a wide spread popular struggle was not fulfilled, but additional struggles were initiated and the struggles networked with sporadic joint actions. Lately the network of joint popular struggles started regular actions - the Ein Hijleh is the second one. The continued struggle draw the international attention and give essential base to the B.D.S. The persistent struggle saw seeds in the subterranean ferment that may sprout without a warning in the appropriate conditions. The persistence and the approaching avalanche of the B.D.S. energize the more far sighted activists. The joint struggle in Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Ma'asara, Nebi Saleh, Shikh Jarrah, Quaddum, and South of Hebron Hills keep going and hold the flag of struggle high.

EinHijleh‬

"The Palestinian coordination of the popular struggles Launch “Melh Al-Ard” Campaign by Reviving Ein Hijleh Village in the Jordan Valley"

Hundreds of Palestinians announced today the launching of “Melh Al-Ard” (Salt of the Earth) campaign by reviving the village of Ein Hijleh in the Jordan Valley on land belonging to the Orthodox Church and St. Gerassimos monastery. The campaign is launched in refusal of Israeli policies aimed at Judaizing and annexing the Jordan Valley.

Campaign organizers and participants declared:

We, the daughters and sons of Palestine, announce today the revival of Ein Hijleh village as part of Melh Al-Ard campaign in the Jordan Valley. The action aims at refusing the political status quo, especially given futile negotiations destroying the rights of our people for liberation and claim to their land.

Accordingly we have decided to revive an old Palestinian Canaanite village in the Jordan Valley next to so called “Route 90” linking the Dead Sea to Bisan. The action is part of a continuous step against the Israeli occupation’s plan to take over and annex the Jordan Valley. This step is a popular act against Israeli oppression of the Palestinian people and the constant Judaization of the land.

From the village of Ein Hijleh, we the participants announce that we hold tight to our right to all occupied Palestinian lands. We refuse Kerry’s Plan that will establish a disfigured Palestinian state and recognizes the Israeli entity as a Jewish State. Such a state will turn Palestinians living inside lands occupied in 1948 into residents and visitors that can be deported at anytime. We affirm the unity of our people and their struggle wherever they are for our inalienable rights.....

... Based on our support of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS) we call upon our friends and international solidarity groups to stand with the demands of the Palestinian people and boycott all Israeli companies including Israeli factories and companies that work in the Jordan Valley and profit from Palestinian natural resources...”

Over 300 Palestinians participate in the action which started Friday in parallel to the regular joint struggles. More than 100 Palestinian activists manage to cross a flying Israeli Army Checkpoint on their way to Ein Hijleh

Afterwards we had a little protest on the main road to send out a message that no one confiscates what is ours!"

Today at the weekly Kufr Qaddoum Demonstrations Against Settlement, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kufr-Qaddoum-Demonstrations-Against-Settlement/381334978581576 The Israeli military treated the protesters with silk gloves, let them advance further (inside the village) than usual, and fired relatively symbolic amounts of tear gas canisters (directly at our faces).
Why?? because of the (coordinated) presence of a UN observer.
Of course, the shabab still stoned the invading force of complacent armored soldiers.

Palestine-Israel, the future is knocking on the door of the joint struggle.

The Israeli media is ongoing reporting on the Israeli elite of the boycott on Israel that not only became significant economically and politically but also just two steps from avalanche. Lot of activists who do not understand that the battle will not be resolved here but in the international area lost heart as the immediate gains are small. They do not understand that the local struggle is the Archimedes point the lever of the B.D.S. is leaning on. So, the joint struggle continue. The international activists who come here carry the struggle in their countries when they return home. Whether understanding the importance of the joint struggle or not, hundred Israelis, and hundreds of Palestinians are every weekend in Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Ma'asara, Nebi Saleh, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarrakh, South of Hebron Hills, and sporadicly in other locations too.

Bil'in

Ten Israelis, dozen internationals and two dozen Palestinians demonstrated this Friday in Bil'in. When we reached the gate in the wall, Israeli state forces threatened us but did nothing. After a while we started to go to the south, along the wall, and the state forces started to shoot tear gas on the shabab located in the Abu Lamun Oaks wood,, and shoot in the ankle one of them with live ammunition. When the intensity of the tear gas was overwhelming we started to return to the village.

Israeli TV channel two reports on the expanding BDS campaign. The report is very self victimizing, and very lacking in self awareness. It questions the world for boycotting Israeli, not Israel for occupying Palestine. In fact it seems like the reporter thinks that Israel is doing nothing wrong, and just by chance finds itself as the international scapegoat.

Palestine-Israel, Another look at the joint struggle against the occupying force and settlers*

The clash that was lately in Ramalla between the Palestinian authority police and strikers demonstration of employees of the United Nation agency stress it again: The activists of the anarchists against the wall initiative and many of the international and even many Palestinians join the struggle against occupation and settler project period. The expectation from a Palestinian state are low and marginal, and very few have any illusions about the expected freedom in the "free Palestine" they chant. The intensifying international pressure on Israel bring an hesitant hopes about the nearing changes in the region. And the joint struggle continue in Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Nebi Saleh, Qadumm, Ma'asara, Sheikh Jarah, and South Hebron Hills, with hesitant contemplations to join from other villages.

Beit Ommar

South West Bank Committee organized today a protest in front of El Azar Illegal colony, South Bethlehem, the activists blocked the main entrance of the illegal colony and were then attacked by the colony's security together with Israeli occupation soldiers and police. The Activists later after the protest planted 100 olive trees in the endangered land adjacent to the illegal colony of El Azar, the activists were attacked again by the Israeli occupation soldiers and police who tried to prevent the planting activity, 13 January, 2014.

Bilin

Friday weekly demonstration 10.01.2014.
17 Israelis, a dozen internationals, and about 30 Bil'iners participated. We marched chanting to the gate in the wall.
Surprisingly state forces refraining from harassing us till activists tried to close the outer gate of the fence "protecting the wall. Even then they just threw some sound grenades. Only when the demo there was declared closed the tear gas shooting on the shabab youth started and the confrontation with them intensified.
After a long while the adults returned to the village while the shabab continued the confrontation with the Israeli force.

"We are all with Yarmouk," chanted participants in the weekly Friday demonstration in the village of Nabi Saleh. Palestinians accompanied by Israeli and international solidarity activists marched today from Martyrs Square at the center of the village towards Nabi Saleh's expropriated lands, as the IOF attempted to dispersed them using tear gas canisters, rubber coated steel bullets and stun grenades. Palestine-Israel The joint struggle contribute to the mounting international pressure on Israel*

The change in the political climate in the region combined with the diminishing importance of the middle east oil resources, and the awareness of the world public opinion about the struggle against occupation of the 1967 war, start to have fruits. The first results of the boycott movement worry the Israeli elite. The news in the world media about the joint struggle and the many thousands of international activists which participate in it contribute a significant share. The organized grass root popular comities contribute it share to the political arena of the Palestinian west bank. In spite Israeli state forces harassment the weekly confrontations of Palestinian grass root popular comities and activists with Israeli activists with the anarchists against the wall, international supporters and Palestinian activists from the region, continue.

Bil'in

Bil'in habinti again. A nice and warm Friday demonstration. It seems the nasty commander of the previous weeks was absent. The wind was very friendly. In spite of some sporadic showers of tear gas canisters and grenades we managed to reach the fence "protecting" the gate in the separation wall. We were 15 Israelis (mostly anarchist) with 5 bearers of the redNblack and black flags. There was a big group of guests - mainly Italians, and few dozens Bil'iners. The demo marked three years of the murder of Jawaher. Jawaher Abu Rahmah who dies of asphyxiation caused by tear gas inhalation in 1/1/2011 was the sister of Bassem abu rahma who was killed in 17/4/2009 and both of them killed in the non violent demonstrations in Bilin village against the Israeli apartheid wall.

After more than an hour, the adults started to return to the village while the shabab youngsters continued their confrontation with the Israeli state forces.
Israeli forces fired rubber coated bullets, tear gas canisters, sound bombs and live ammunition which resulted in the injury of a Palestinian Abdel Rahman Betillo (16 years) with live ammunition (Twotwo bullets) in his leg. Another journalist from Palestine TV Najeeb Sharawneh suffocated from tear gas and was later taken to a
hospital in Ramallah.

Al M'asara

Friday weekly protest 3.01.2014: Israeli Forces tried to suppress the weekly nonviolent march of Al Masara village. Today’s demonstration commemorated 49 years since the start of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement Fateh, also to condemn the detention of children in the West Bank and in solidarity with the Palestinian people of the refugee camp of Yarmouk in Syria.
Dozens of Palestinians and International activists participated in the protest and carried Palestinian flags while chanting slogans against the Occupation. Israeli forces have stopped the protestors from reaching their lands and were blocked using plastic shields.

Qaddum

Israeli Forces heavily repressed today the weekly demonstration of Kufr Qaddoum against the Wall and Settlements. The march counted with the presence of numerous local activists, international peace activists and few Israelis of the anarchists against the wall initiative. The demo high lighted the death of Said Jasir, an 85-year-old man from the village that died two days ago after the Israeli army shot tear gas into his house during a protest in the village. After inhaling tear gas, Jasir was evacuated to the hospital in Nablus, were he died a few hours later.
Violent clashes broke out today between dozens of youths and the Israeli soldiers during the march. A disproportionate amount of tear gas canisters and sound bombs were thrown at the demonstrators causing a lot of injuries due to tear gas inhalation. Aqel Mahmoud Ishtawi aged 24, was arrested by Israeli Forces.

Southern Hebron Hills

Yesterday in the weird south. A dozen of us were detained, our vehicles were all stopped in arbitrary "flying checkpoints", the license of the transit driver was checked three times, but, we should add, we did successfully repair a water cistern with our friend Abu Sabha and his boys above the Tawamin valley. In our presence and with three trucks, the Mur family plowed the entire Tawamin valley earlier this week - three years ago they would be shooed from the place with teargas and arrests.

In 2003, the IDF blocked the main entrance to the Palestinian village Qaddum. Since then, the army has limited the residents’ access to their land (some 11 square kilometers or 11,000 dunams) near that main entrance road, to only once or twice a year. In 2011, the residents started weekly demonstrations, calling for the roadblock to be removed. In response, the IDF started attacking the village. Those attacks include nightly incursions and arrests (about 100 people have been arrested so far). Often, during those incursions, IDF soldiers throw tear gas and stun grenades into residents’ homes.

The soldiers raided the home of the head of the popular committee, Murad Ashtawi, and interrogated him aggressively. A few hours later, soldiers returned to the village and arrested him. After he had been caught, he was sprayed with pepper spray and taken into custody in Huwwara. By Sunday morning he had still not been interrogated.

The Israeli government is continuing its war against its Bedouin citizens.

Four weeks after the demonstration in Hura of rage against the Prawer Plan, nine people remain detained. Arrests have also continued long after the demonstration; on Tuesday, 24th December, 2013 the police arrested a further 23 people, one of whom remains still in custody.

On Thursday, 26th December, 2013, government representatives accompanied by the police arrived for yet another demolition day in the Negev. They demolished a plant nursery in the Rahat industrial zone, a home in Khirbet El-Watan (near a-Sayyed) and yet again, the village of El-Araqib.

Palestine-Israel, The joint struggle not only in occupied west bank not only about settler colonialism*

This week the focus of struggle enlarged a bit to include the ugly racist politics of the Israeli naZionist establishment regarding the refugees. The same strategy of sporadic vicious attacks on the back ground of ongoing harassment and pressure to get out applied to the Palestinians within the 1968 borders and the new 1967 ones is also applied to the 53 thousands African refugees. The racism inbuilt in the Zionist settler colonialism which built Israel and expand it in every opportunity is only refraining from harsher measures because of international pressure. Though Israel never adopted international conventions (with support of overwhelming majority of its Jewish community) it refrain from prolonged defying them. Thus, it did not kill the refugees freely on the border. It just make them as miserable as it can and put increasing numbers in a concentration camp.

Qadum

"Hello everyone. What happened yesterday in Qadum is hard to describe. Long before we arrived - around ten o'clock' the occupation army was inside the village. The quantities of teargas fired was unbelievable. The Israeli state forces positioned soldiers on rooftops and fired from there aplenty. Conduct of members of the village was awe-inspiring. The absence of Murad and the circumstances
around the efforts to his release instilled in the villagers energies which are hard to describe in words. The atmosphere was impressive all the villagers demanded freedom.
Some of us know the efforts made to the justified release of Murad which was not sure to succeed. The respect we got from the friends in the village was far above and beyond what we deserve. All the houses were open to us and people came to congratulate and thank us.
One demonstrator was wounded in the head, got treatment in the village including stitches.

South Hebron hills

Saturday, 28-12-13,
A new post on yesterday's Ta'ayush activity. A weird encounter with the police. A weird encounter with a coexistence group. Another weird day of struggle against apartheid.
Israeli police try to block anarchists reaching South Hebron hills:
A police car stops the transit. The cop approaches asking if we’re anarchists. “We’re here to identify anarchists, and send them back!” He explains. He asks for IDs or passports. G refuses, saying there’s a court rule against arbitrary controls that forces police to conduct a search only with a provable suspicion. The cop threatens to detain him if he doesn’t identify himself. Uriel jumps in and presents his ID.
“Mr. V, are you anarchists?” The cop asks.
“Am I an anarchist?!” Uriel exclaims, and shuffling through his wallet, says: “Do you see an anarchist ID in here?”
The group is then released. This possibly immortal scene was captured in a hilarious video

Saturday 28-12-13 late evening. About 15 thousands African refugees and few hundred Israelis converged near Tel Aviv central bus station and marched to the municipal city square.
About 100 activists of the anarchist scene were among the marchers. Half the march was in silence and in the second half the shout "freedom" shacked the streets.
