Palestine-Israel, The joint struggle and the activists of the popular comities continue to contribute to the imminent end of 1967 occupation*

The approaching victory in the struggle to block the advance of the Zionist settler colonialist project and even to force it to retreat a bit do not make the real good people to like the enrolling of history. The approaching defeat make the Israeli elite take desperate steps and do its atrocities in the open. The efforts to transfer the Bedouins within 1948 borders and villagers in 1967 occupied territories escalate. The diminishing support of Israel by the imperial power due to changes in the dynamics of the region, world public opinions and economic losses it cause gradually change the power balance within the Israeli capitalist elite that may be expressed in the coming elections. On the ground, the joint struggle in Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Ma'asara, Nebi Saleh, Sheikh Jarah, Kadum, and South Of Hebron Hills, is gradually expanding to other locations even without the "shield" of Israeli activists.

Bil'in

Today in Bil'in demo 6 Israelis and about doze internationals joined dozens of Bil'iners. Due to changing wind many of us succeeded to resist the efforts of the Israeli armed tugs to disperse us for about an hour. However, when the wind changed to a western one most of us had to return to the village.

This 26-12-14 Friday in Bil'in demo. 5 Israelis and many international activists joined the Bil'iners in the march towards the lands returned and the new separation wall.
The Israeli armed forces stopped us with barrage of tear gas from even approaching the route of the dismantled separation fence. Taking advantage of the friendly northern wind many of us succeeded to around the armored cars and defied them in more than an hour of confrontation.

Nabi Saleh

19-12-14 The weekly Friday demonstration in the village of Nabi Saleh launched this week from the center of the village, as protesters, villagers and solidarity activists a like marched together towards the expropriated spring. The IDF attempted to disperse the march with tear gas canisters and rubber-coated steel bullets. Soldiers raided the village, chasing after Palestinian teens. Several soldiers invaded a private residence, threatening to arrest the family’s children for throwing stones.

Al Ma'asara

Musical Marsh in Al Maasara and a settler replies with live bullets.
The Peaceful Demonstration started from the center of Al Maasara Village, South of Bethlehem. This time the demonstration was with Musicians without Borders group who played music in an initiative to feel the Christmas in a place that is far few kilometers from the Jesus cradle.
The participants were singing and holding the Palestinian flag, when the demonstration reached the Road “60” a settler started firing the protesters, he wanted to kill them.
Tens wounded due to the brutality of the Israeli army, locals and International supporters were attacked as they marched to the village's confiscated lands.
PSCC called for the activity to stand their ground and fight in honor of Ziad Abu Ain martyr.
Al Maasara, south of Bethlehem, is one of many villages that have developed Popular Committees to nonviolently resist construction of “apartheid wall.” And this time the popular committee in Al Maasara called for punishment for the settler who wanted to kill the peaceful protesters.

Hello everyone.
As we reached the village - well before the march started a strong smell of gas.flooded us.
Tearfully we realized the falsify statement that the occupation army fires the means of dispersing "Rioting" gas only on "processions without permission" and "illegal demonstrations". They shoot just because they can.
On Friday, participated in the demonstration "a senior Fatah official of Qalqilya and Nablus" and the demonstration was Particularly festive. Less solemn and dignified was the conduct of the army of occupation. The army was waiting inside the village leaving far behind the lines the forbidden road.
The amount of gas that was fired yesterday in Qadum was unusual even to the experienced of us.The whole Village was shrouded in gas. Plenty of gas. They fired stun grenades, rubber.coated steel bullets and even the first time regular live ammunition (not the 22 kind). Several people were hurt after inhaling tear gas or heated by canisters and were treated on the spot. The leg.of one Palestinian youth was hit by a live bullet. The bullet entered on one side of the leg and came out on the other side. Non-lethal crowd-control measures? Not even their according to their claims. Do I meet the criminal shooter in Salem? Not likely. It seems that everything is possible these days.The tear gas clouds finally dissipated and it was probably the signal to use to spray the skunk stench water so its mark will remain for days.

In Qassum the Qadumians know to protect their home. Some older women moved forward and stood at the edge of the demonstration not far from the main crowd, one carrying a prayer. A group of girls cheerfully advanced with signs - advancing and retreating, back and forth. Will this be a feminist women's demonstration ? Not.But it was a pretty sight.
I wish recovery to the injured.And thanks to Abdullah Qadumi for this video.

Don't Say We Didn't Know 433

On Wednesday morning December 10th, 2014, Border Policemen in Hebron fired teargas near the Kiton Checkpoint (209), not far from the Palestinian elementary school Ibrahimiya. The gas penetrated the schoolhouse and the principal had to send the children home. One child was hospitalized. On the next day the Israeli forces repeated the action and fired teargas grenades. At Hadiya three teargas grenades landed at the entrance of the school, in Al Khalil four teargas grenades landed in the schoolyard. A child was physically hurt from a teargas grenade and hospitalized. Both schools were closed.

On Monday, December 8th, 2014, Israeli government agents escorted by police demolished the Bedouin village of Al Arakib in the Negev once more.

---------------------------------------------------------------
DON’T SAY WE DIDN’T KNOW #434
According to the Negev Coexistence Forum for Civil Equality’s home demolition statistics, there were 859 Negev Bedouin homes demolished between July 2013 and June 1014!
78% were demolished by the owners under threat by the inspectors that if they didn’t demolish their homes themselves, the State would demolish them, and the owners would have to pay the State’s demolition costs.
On Wednesday, government representatives escorted by police came to demolish homes in Bedouin localities in the Negev. In Tel Arad, north of Kseife, a large addition to a mosque was destroyed. In A-Zarnug, north of the Beer Sheva – Dimona highway, they demolished two structures. In Al-Ghara, west of Nevatim air force base, they demolished a structure, and in Laqiya, they demolished a structure.

Palestine-Israel, The joint struggle on the back ground of the end of world "status Quo" and as catalyst in our region*

Ended the old world order in which US interests in the region East of the Mediterranean let Israel - a bastion of US, continue with its Zionist settler colonialist in the 1967 occupied Palestine. Europe started to advance its own interests which are not in accord with the Israeli bastion. The independent steps of Europe are enhanced by its public opinions against Israeli colonialism to which the joint struggle in the west bank contribute a lot. It was the approaching of the imminent crisis that forced the Israeli Prime minister to call for election to save him from the timely election when the crisis will be the main agenda. The murder of the Palestinian minister of the popular struggles focused the light on the ferment and the rising of the popular non armed struggles Israel contemplate enhancing the suppression of with systematic use of live ammunition.

05/12/2014 Friday DEMO.Around 50 persons took part in today's demo.
A group of journalists were targeted by soldiers who threw gas at them.A female ‪#‎journalist‬ was lightly ‪#‎injured‬ on the head.
Soldiers used hails of rubbers bullets at continuous ‪#‎shooting‬ speed and tear gas canisters from their jeeps.
It is needless to say that gas once again entered our village.
The Occupying forces are doing their very best to make ‪#‎Palestinian‬ lives UNBEARABLE on their own HOMELAND,but this can only strengthen our fight for ‪#‎FREEDOM‬ and our LOVE for our BLESSED HOLY LAND".
The lousy wind was not friendly. It did not carry the wind away or to the Israeli armed ones. It was not the usual tear gas as it brought agony to the lungs mainly - not the eyes.

12-12-14 Today I got in Bil'in my weekly fix of tear gas. Ten Israelis, a dozen internationals joined the Bil'iners in a march towards the separation wall. As usual lately the Israeli state force prevented us from even approaching the route of the removed separation fence. However due to the help of the friendly wind few of us succeeded to defy the clouds of the tear gas and come nearer to the old route. Due to miscalculation a tear gas canister greased my left foot but with no damage. After an hour and a half of confrontation most of us returned to the village leaving a dozen or so of youngsters to continue the confrontation.

05/12/2014 As today’s weekly demonstration was about the end and the youth were about to disperse, an IDF officer and a sniper started walking towards them. This ignited some stone throwing and one of the boys was shot with live ammunition (“tutu”) in his leg. Only then IDF forces left the scene. The office and sniper were carrying only stun grenades and live weapons with them. Other than the clear attempt to provoke the demonstrators, this is another example of how IDF soldiers’ are increasingly using live ammunition to disperse demonstrations in Nabi Saleh and other villages.

Haim Schwarczenberg: In the aftermath of the death of Ziad Abu ‘Ein, residents of Nabi Saleh took the streets to protest his killing and carry on his fight against land annexations and settlements. Abu ‘Ein died shortly after an Israeli soldier assaulted him during a peaceful march in Turmus’aya the day before. He was the Palestinian minister in charge of the popular struggle against the wall and the settlements, and was admired by many for his integrity. Villagers and solidarity activists marched from the center of Nabi Saleh towards its main entrance carrying posters with the slain minister’s photo, and also chanting the names of the village’s own martyrs, Mustafa and Rushdi Tamimi, killed by the Israeli army during local protests. The IDF attempted to disperse the protesters using tear gas canisters. No major injuries reported.

IDF escalates violence towards protesters: In recent weeks, I have witnessed on several occasions a worrying trend in the way the IDF opts to handle popular protests in the West Bank: In addition to tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets, the army now deploys well-positioned snipers that target protesters with live ammunition, hence the recent sharp rise in injuries (many of them severe) from bullets.

Don’t say we didn’t know #431

The IDF has increased the use of live ammunition against Palestinians demonstrating or throwing stones.

On Thursday, 20th November, 2014, an IDF jeep drove into Deir El-Hattab (east of Nablus). The soldiers claim that stones were thrown at them. They shot live bullets towards children in the vicinity. A youth standing nearby was hurt in his leg by a live bullet. He was taken to hospital.

On Friday, 28th November, 2014, the weekly demonstration against closure of the access road to Kufr Qaddum (west of Nablus), took place. Soldiers nearby shot tear gas towards the demonstrators. Afterwards, they shot rubber coated bullets and live, 0.22” caliber ammunition. Two demonstrators were injured in their chests, and one of them in the hand, too. They were taken to hospital. Ten more demonstrators were injured by rubber coated bullets. Four required hospitalization.

Don't Say We Didn't Know 432

What actually happened there?

On Sunday, November 30, 2014, Mahmoud Al Kadi of Rahat was arrested. Before his arrest he called his family from a bus stop near Sderot and said, "I'm on my way home". As he failed to arrive, his family called him a few times to find out where he was. Finally a policeman answered and informed them that he was in custody at the Kiryat Gat police station. A relative who arrived at the station with some food for him heard him screaming. The policemen notified a friend of his: "Tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock he will be brought before a judge for extension of remand". While Al Kadi's wife waited for him at the court, she received a phone call informing her that her husband had committed suicide and that she should come to receive his body.

The family came to the police station and demanded an autopsy, in order to know the cause of death. The police refused. The family appealed to the court, requesting an autopsy. The judge ruled to have the autopsy. The police contested. The judge accepted the contestation. The family turned to the district court and continued to demand that a pathologist on its behalf be present at the autopsy. The district court accepted the demand and ruled that a Jenin pathologist be present. After the autopsy it was ruled that the report be issued in two weeks. On Thursday evening, following the autopsy, Mahoumd was buried.

Palestine-Israel - The joint struggle contribute to the shift in the domination within the Israeli capitalist ruling elite*

Israel was built mainly by the national socialists who owned 75% of the economy at 1949. Due to the dependence on imperial powers the so called socialist elite invested a lot in building the Zionist-capitalist elite to which it lost the power in 1977. The interest conflicts within the Zionist-capitalist elite started to change balance between the small tycoons section that supported the Zionist wish to transfer the Palestinians out and the capitalist section that integrated in the neo-liberal globalization who wish to exploit the Palestinians and the workers of neighboring countries. The restructuring of power relations in the global capitalism after the last crisis had its Israeli expression in the near bankruptcy of the Tycoon elite and the present collapse of the government coalition. The economic damage already resulted from the B.D.S. which is enhanced by the joint struggle seems to hasten the shift in the balance of powers.

Nariman AL Tamimi, Asid and Basel Al Rimawi were shot by Israeli live bullets today at Al Nabi Saleh village
Nariman is currently having an operation in her foot, which was hit by a live bullet. Asid Al Rimawi 15 and Basel Al Rimawi 24 were hit by live bullets while the Israeli army was violently suppressing the weekly demonstration at AL Nabi Saleh which started from Al Shuhada square in the center of the village and was heading towards the village lands confiscated by the Israeli occupation.
tens of international solidarity activists and Palestinians from the village and the surrounding villages took part in this demonstration.
The demonstration was under the title (Jerusalem is calling) and aimed to mark the second anniversary of the killing of Rushdi Al Tamimi by the Israeli army. The demonstrators chanted against the occupation and illegal colonial settlements and for Jerusalem, Palestinian political prisoners an martyrs
Once the demonstrators reached the Israeli army checkpoint at the entrance of the village, the Israeli soldiers started shooting live and rubber bullets in addition to gas and metal bombs. Nariman was injured with a bullet (called Tutu) in her foot and was immediately taken to Palestine health compound. A 25 year old man and a 15 year old boy from the village of Beit Rima were also injured by live bullets from the same type (tutu)and were taken to Yaser Arafat hospital in Salfit. Ni'lin continue to resist Israeli occupation and apartheid 28.112014 - one guy, 21 years old got shot in the stomach with a rubber coated steel bullet from close range in Ni'lin, as clashes continued until 03:00pm, in spite of the several attempts to shoot and cash protesters, luckily no one got caught.
soon full report at http://www.nilin-village.org/
This weeks demonstration started like all other weeks after the Friday prayer under the olive trees that grow in the outskirts of the village of Ni’lin. As every week the demonstration proceeded to march towards the separation wall carrying Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against the wall and in solidarity with the Palestinian struggling at the Al-Aqsa mosque.

However the situation in the village has been escalating since June of this year Israeli soldiers were waiting for the protesters as they approached the wall. Before the demonstration had arrived at it’s destination the soldiers attacked the protest with tear gas canisters fired straight towards the protesters as well as rubber coated steel bullets. The clashes continued until three in the after noon when the protestors managed to push the soldiers back towards the wall.

Since June 2014 the Israeli soldiers have been attacking Ni’lins Friday demonstration near habituated house and sometimes even inside the village, chasing protesters with jeeps and shooting at houses. We believe this is an attempt to make the villagers condemn the demonstrations and thereby making them stop.

Many new tactics have been put in place to make the Ni’lin demonstrations come to an end. One such tactic has been to let snipers shoot protestors in the legs in order for them to be easier to catch for the soldiers. Since June of this year 13 protesters have been shot in the legs but so far only one has been arrested. The military has also been adding more snipers over the course of the months. To start with they were using one sniper during demonstrations but now that number has grown to three.

The Israeli military's treatment of Ni’lin and it’s villagers are aided by the fact that the town has received no media coverage in more than a year and a half. This has led to Ni’lin being a testing ground for new military tactics against demonstrations.

Friday 21.11.2014
The mad armed forces showered the place with skunk water including the non participants who came back from the olive harvest, fired live ammunition while aiming at demonstrators and cursing out loud at us.
Then, the village answered.
Already one boy injured by tutu bullets fired on the hundreds of resident protesters in the weekly demo against the occupation in kufr Qaddum.
Dozens of Israeli soldiers heavily armed firing and storming us inside the village, and the ppl stand defiant.

Today over 200 local participants matched in Kufr Qaddum, along with a couple internationals and 4 israelis.
The army invaded the village on the main road early, with a few dozen soldiers, with gips, gas cannons, skunk and tutu rifles. In the first hour before and after the march started they were very violent, firing all the above all over the main street.
At least two were shot and treated for tutu bullet injuries.
About an hour or so after the march began, the soldiers showed more restraint, and began to retreat even before the heavy rain set in. This led to the ppl burning even more tires than usual, taking advantage of a strong westerly wind that blew it all into Kdumim.
All in all, moral was very high.

28-11-14 - Israeli army just shot a European solidarity activist in the chest with live ammunition at the weekly demo against the occupation in kufr Qaddum! There was no warning and the invading soldiers were not in any danger. Over 200 local protesters with a dozen Jews and internationals keep an unarmed standoff in front of the army inside the village.

28/11/14 Blocking the Jerusalem - Jericho road
Nabi Mosa occupied Palestine, demonstration faced by huge number of Israeli soldiers and police, demonstrations called for the end of occupation, freeing jerusalem and the stopping of bedouin displacement in the area. --- Palestinian popular committees accompanied by international solidarity activists succeeded today to block the Jerusalem - Jericho road to restrict the Zionist colonists and soldiers movement. The peaceful protest was faced and suppressed by a big number of heavily armed Israeli soldiers of all units who used tear gas canisters and stun grenades to disperse and oppress the peaceful protesters and prevent them from blocking the high way.
The main goals of the protest were to shed more light on the ongoing displacement of the Palestinian Bedouins from that area (H1), to confirm that occupied Jerusalem is a Palestinian capital and Palestinian have the full right to enter Jerusalem city freely .

Don’t say we did not know #428
On Tuesday, 21st October, 2014, Border Police units (combat soldiers) came to the Bedouin East Jerusalem neighborhood, A-Za’im – Za’atara. The residents are West Bank ID holders, and landowners, even though Israel annexed the neighborhood to Jerusalem. They are allowed to continue living there but are prohibited from entering the rest of Jerusalem.
The soldiers demolished three homes and an ancient cave used as a sheepfold.
Twenty one people were made homeless.
The next day the soldiers returned and confiscated tents donated by the Red Cross, following the demolition.

Don’t say we did not know #429
On Sunday, 09/11/2014, a group of Palestinian children from Hebron were on their way home from school, when a settler driving by stopped near them and pushed one of them. The boy fell and was injured.
International volunteers in the area approached border units policemen in the area and asked them to intervene. The policemen refused. As the settler drove off, the policemen waved him goodbye instead of arresting him.

Don’t say we didn’t know #430

On Thursday, November 6th, 2014, IDF soldiers arrived at the Palestinian village El’Aqaba (near Tubas) and demolished a home and a sheepfold. Nine people were made homeless.

After the home demolitions in Umm El-Kheir in the South Hebron Hills (Don’t say… #427), those affected received tents as humanitarian aid. On October 29th, 2014, IDF soldiers came back and confiscated those tents. The residents started constructing tin sheds. On Wednesday, November 19th, 2014, IDF soldiers came and handed out Stop Work orders.

All village homes, except four, are threatened with demolition orders.

Palestine-Israel - the joint struggle in turbulent times.

The popular unarmed struggle of Palestinian communities joint by Israeli anarchists against the wall and others is not a struggle for the "national liberation" or "self determination" of the Palestinian nation. It is the struggle of Palestinian people which overwhelm majority of them are working people against the threat of transfer, and the suppression and exploitation by the Israeli Zionist settler colonialist project. No one of the involved in the struggle who are not in the Palestinian elite have illusions about the Palestinian elite and the state they will rule and manage after the end of the occupation. No one of the involved in the struggle believe that the end of the direct occupation will solve the 1948 Nacba and the refugees problems. However, they still prefer the end of the occupation and independence from Israel, over the direct Israeli rule, as it will not be an agent of transfer or of so brutal suppression and exploitation.

Bil'in

Seventeen Israelis and a lot of international friends from various countries joined more than usual Bil'iners in the Friday demonstration. Israel's armed forces took positions with their armored jeeps along the old route of the separation fence to prevent the protesters from even coming near the liberated areas which were behind the old route. (Not even to think about approaching the wall built on the border of the freed lands. When we started to go down from the built area of the village towards the old route, the soldiers began to shower us with tear gas. Because of the south east wind we could stay in the fields just beyond the range of the tear gas guns. From time to time the soldiers tried to come nearer and push us away but were repulsed by the tear gas carried by the wind and the tear gas canisters "returned to the sender" by the youngsters.
After more than an hour of total failure - including forays and retreats of the armed forces, they began firing rubber bullets but failed to seriously injure any of the demonstrators.

31/10/2014 , Al Masara occupied Palestine
Occupation forces suppressed a demonstration in Al Ma'asarah and demonstrators blocked the street 3157 in solidarity with Al Aqsa.
Occupation forces suppressed the weekly march in Al Ma'asarah and prevented access to the confiscated land. The demonstrators closed the street 60 and prevented settlers from using the street that connects the settlements, on the village lands, with each other.
The demonstration comes in solidarity with Al Aqsa, which is exposed to the ugliest crimes of the occupation and the settlers. The demonstration was called for by the Popular Committees Against the Wall and settlements in the village with the participation of dozens of international activists and villagers.
The Peoplar Committees in the village confirmed that the popular resistance in the village will continue until defeating the occupation of the Palestinian territories, denouncing the occupation fierce campaigns on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and called on the international community to act to end the occupation.

31/10/2014 , Kufur kadom, occupied Palestine
Tens were suffocated in Kufur kadom
Friday, tens of cases were suffocated due to the occupation suppressing Kufur Kadom weekly anti-settlement demonstration. The participatants and villagers chanted slogans condemning the settlement in solidarity with Al Aqasa. Israeli army attacked the demonstration with gas grenades and rubber bullets injuring dozens of demonestrators with suffocation. All of them were treated in the field. The demonstration’s coordinator stressed that today’s march came to support the Al Aqsa, which is under Zionist fierce attack. He also noted that the occupation is deliberately targeting houses with grenades gas and wastewater as a form of collective punishment because of the continuing in demonstrations.

7-11-14 Today was extraordinary in kufr Qaddum.
During recent talks between the army and the Palestinian DCO, the army suggested to open the village's Road partially/gradually, in exchange for ending the protests. In particular the army said it might open the road partially next week, if the village's stops all rock throwing and tire burning today.
So today a hundred locals, a dco official, extra press, 4 Jews 4 Europeans and 4 Koreans participated in a perfectly peaceful and short March towards the road block, and the army blocked us with a symbolic yet threatening force. Moral was as high as ever and all wait expectantly to see if the army lives up to its promise.

Don't say we did not know 426#

The IDF continues harming Palestinian residents of the Jordan valley.

On Monday, 20th October, 2014, they demolished a family's home and four sheepfolds in Jiftlik. On Wednesday, 22nd October, 2014, the IDF evacuated residents of Ras El Ahmar, near 'Atuf, at 6.00 a.m., due to military exercises in the area. At around 6:00 p.m. the residents returned. The same day, the IDF evacuated residents near Hammam El Malih, below the Crusader monastery. The inhabitants returned at 2:00 p.m.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On Wednesday, 22nd October, 2014, government representatives escorted by police came to Bedouin areas and demolished homes.
In A-Zarnug, north of Road 25, they demolished a home. North of the township 'Ar'ara they demolished another one. In Bir Hadaj, near Kibbutz Revivim, they demolished three homes.
Don't say we didn’t know 427
The Bedouin village Umm El-Kheir, situated in the South Hebron hills, has suffered for years from policies of demolition and harassment from residents of the settlement Carmel. On Monday, 27th October, 2014, IDF and police forces arrived in the western part of the village and demolished four homes and two outhouses. Twenty people were made homeless. They went on to demolish a tabun (traditional outdoor oven, used for baking bread) - without a demolition order - that the settlers had demanded of the Court be demolished. Two days later, the soldiers returned and demolished the tabun, while it was being repaired.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

For quite some time, we have been witnessing the phenomenon of arrest used as punishment - of both Bedouin and Palestinian Israeli citizens. This is neither for interrogation nor detention prior to imprisonment. The incarceration continues long after any interrogation has finished. Lamentably, the courts authorize these policies.

During a home demolition in Wadi El Na'am, on 14th October, 2014, the police arrested five village residents (Re. Don't say #425). They are still in custody. Incidentally, those arrested in a demonstration near Hura, at the end of November 2013, are also still under house arrest.

Palestine-Israel, The joint struggle on the back ground of Israel not hiding any more its true nature

Al along the years israel tried to neutralize the pressures of the more enlightened people by hiding its brute racism and and murderous activities recruiting the memory of the holocaust as justification for every heinous act of it when revealed. However, as the masquerade was exposed last years and more and more are disillusioned from the "Zionist dream", the restrained are loosened fast. The rightists preach their extreme racist ideology in the open. The "para militarists" settlers get freer hands. The transfer of Palestinians both within the 1948 borders and these occupied in 1967 is done in the open. Though it is still restricted mainly to the Israeli area of the Bedouins in the south and the C agricultural regions of the 1967, the "gloves" were removed. In the same new mode, the repression of the non armed popular struggles intensified last few weeks and we can not guess which will be - if at all, the limit of the new repression mode.

Arkib (1948 Bedouins), Bil'in, Dahams (Ramla 1948 village), East Jerusalem (occupied 1967 mainly Sheikh Jarah, Shuafat, Silwan, and the Bedouins of the region) Ma'asarah, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, South of Hebron Hills, and the Jordan valey Palestinians.

20-10-2014, Ofer Israeli military court finds Abdullah Abu Rahma , a well known activist and coordinator of popular resistance committee in Bil'in, guilty of obstruction of military vehicles . In 2012 ,Abu Rahma among other activists demonstrated in Bil'in against Israeli army bulldozers . Bulldozers were trying to block the road with huge concrete blocks who also serve as a shield and secure post for army snipers and soldiers. Abu Rahma was arrested back then and released a few hours later as he made bail. A year later, Abu .Rahma Rahmeh was not called for any court hearing . All eye witnesses confirm the Abdullah just stood on the bulldozer but he never posed danger to any Israeli armed to-the-neck soldier.
Abu Rahma an EU recognized human rights defender was detained twice before, though what he was doing was considered legal by The EU.
1-12-2014 is the date when Abdullah will receive his new sentence..!

Bil'in

Friday in Bil'in. 10 Israelis, with 40 internationals joined the villagers in the olive harvest procession. The Israeli armed forces tried to block our way to the liberated lands between the removed separation fence and the new separation wall. We managed to march on the fields paths and confronted the army jeeps so in spite the teat gas that the north east carried away we succeeded to make them retreat and came near the wall.
After a long confrontation we returned to the village - tired but with satisfaction.

Almaasara

17-10-2014, Almaasara occupied Palestine. The weekly demonstration against settlements and apartheid wall started at the city center and moved towards the village entrance blocked by a huge number of Israeli soldiers . As the protestors got close, the soldiers fired a massive tear gas and sound bomb attack to push demonstrators back, yet a few brave men and women kept pushing and reached route 60 ( the main road connecting settlements in the area ), and blocked it for an hour before the soldiers viciously reopened it.
Popular resistance committees in the area said that they will not stop before they free their village and reclaim their stolen lands.

24-10-2014, Al Masara -occupied Palestine.
Occupation forces suppressed the weekly demonestration in Al Masara and prevented the demonestratores from accessing to the lands confiscated. This demonestration, which organized by the Popular Committees Against the Wall and Settlement in the village, is in solidarity with the Al-Aqsa Mosque and as a condemnation of incursions carried out by the occupation and the settlers from one hand, and of the actions of hitting Palestinians with cars by settlers.
The demoenstration began at the center of the village with the participation of dozens of villagers and foreigners. They waved Palestinian flags and filled the village streets. Demonstrators chanted in solidarity with the prisoners and with Al- Aqsa Mosque.
After arraiving the entrance of the village, dozens of Israeli soldiers were blocking the entrance and forming a human barrier to prevent the demonstrators from reaching the confescated lands. The Israeli occupation forces detained citizens and prevented vehicles from passing.
The popular committees confiremed that they will continue resistting the wall and settlements in the village that popular resistance will until defeating the occupation. The also demanded the international community to intervene to stop the violations of the occupation forces against the Palestinian people.

The weekly demo against the Israeli occupation today at kufr qaddum.
Lots of tear gas grenades fitted directly. skunk juice used to stink protesters and in particular the houses around. And many rubber coated steel bullets fired on us.
Nearly 200 participated! There was One injury. Happy olive harvest season to all
Tens of Palestinians required medical treatment today due to cases of suffocation in Kufr Qaddoum. Tens were wounded today, Friday 17 October, due to suffocation during demonstration in Kufr Qaddoum due to attempts by the Occupation to suppress the demonstration in Kufr Qaddoum against Israeli settlement and which brought about a victory for al-Aqsa.

The demonstration in Kufr Qaddoum started at Omar bin Khitab mosque with the participation of tens of families from the village holding flags of Palestine and denouncing the belligerent campaign directed at al-Aqsa.Upon the arrival of protesters to a road which had been closed, the Israeli Occupation Forces attacked by shooting gas canisters, rubber coated metal bullets and spraying sewage water, leading to the suffocation of tens of protesters. The coordinator of the rally stressed that the Kufr Qaddoum march had brought victory to the al-Aqsa Sanctuary which is being subjected to brutal aggression by settlers and the Israeli Occupation Forces. He noted that the occupation deliberately sprayed houses with waste water instead of digging up the road and throwing dirt on people's homes.

"At the weekly demo against the occupation in kufr qaddum today, we were near 100 locals, 5 internationals and 3 Jews.
the Israeli army and the locals were more passive than usual today, partly due to the olive harvest the army took positions in a house, outside by the road, and up on the hill above us. Dozens of gas canisters were fired directly at us, we set some tires afire, and thankfully there were no injuries nor arrests."

Don't Say We Didn't Know 424

Every year during the olive harvest season, Palestinian farmers and their families are subjected to assaults by Jewish settlers in the Occupied Territories. On Thursday, October 9, 2014 inhabitants of the Palestinian village Yasouf, east of Salfeet town, discovered about 70 of their olive trees cut down. The by-now-familiar inscription "Price Tag" was found at the site. The next day, Friday, Jewish settlers lit up a tire and tried to set fire to the village olive grove. The farmers put it out. On Saturday a family harvesting their olives was assaulted by settlers. The father and mother were hurt, the mother had to be hospitalized. The settlers had also damaged the family car that was there.

Don't Say We Didn't Know 425
On Tuesday, 14/10/2014 representatives of the Government accompanied by the Yoav Unit ( a special police unit 'dedicated' to policing the Bedouin population of the Negev, among other things, protecting demolition crews demolishing their homes). in Bedouin villages in the Negev. In Wadi el Na'am south of Beersheva the representatives violated a court order to suspend the demolition of one of the houses and demolished the home of a young couple shortly to be wed. During the demolition the police injured residents who protested the demolition. Seven of the injured were evacuated to hospital for treatment and five were arrested, including the young woman about to be married.
At Al Arakib the police destroyed the shelters and expropriated equipment including two cars. They arrested three residents, one of whom was released the same day while the other two were released the following day.

Palestine Israel, The joint struggle already eleven years old and continue

A physical confrontation between between the Israeli armed forces (and settlers) and a joint crowd of Israeli Jews and Palestinian activists in the 1967 occupied territories is so common that people do not sense its unique nature. In addition to PR disaster for the Zionist transfer project it also forced Israel to mostly exclude shooting with life ammunition fire to kill non armed Palestinian demonstrators whenever Israelis might participate. In addition to the usual locations of joint struggles, addition places Palestinians start protests we learn of from the media. The Israeli media to which the agreement with the Hamas about the end of the rocketing was not revealed, come again and again with facts and generals opinions which can only be explained as rationalization to changes forced on Israel in the agreement.

Bil'in

Friday 3.10.14 in Bil'in was in eve and in the beginning of olive picking. In addition to seven Israelis and dozen international only had about a dozen and a half Bil'iners participated in the demo. Some regular participants and especially the young stone throwers Shabab were absent due to the beginning of the olive picking season. For reasons best known to them, the Israeli armed forces have initiated an unusual step. They have stood in a line of soldiers and border police at a Square just beyond route of the old (and dismantled) separation fence, forbade us to move forward towards Abu Lemon garden and the separation wall.

After a long while in which the confrontation was only verbal, Some of us started to walk toward the wall along the old route of the dismantled separation fence. In response, the armed forces called as reinforcement an armed unit in a jeep that tried in vein to locate us on the gravel roads crisscrossing the freed area and shoot in random few tear gas grenades. When the lack of an ongoing conflict start to bore us, demonstrators began to return to the village.
This Friday, a rare thing occurred. It was the firs time in long months that I had not got even a trickle of tear gas nor smelt it.

Friday 10.10.14
Before the demo, soldiers entered the area between the old and new wall routes, and set fire to a small building. Then they waited for the demonstrators on the village side of the new wall, and while the latter were still gathering in the Abu Lamun grove, the soldiers arrested a Palestinian demonstrator and drove the others away with gas. The demonstrators regrouped at the old wall route. The soldiers came there too, and kept chasing demonstrators away with gas, advancing as far as the built area of the village. Despite the small Shabab presence, the soldiers didn't only shoot gas, but also used live bullets to scare non violent demonstrators away. They also put a sound bomb under a disabled person's car, and it broke down due to the explosion. The demonstrator who was arrested at the beginning of the demo was released later, after being beaten to the point of bleeding from his face.
Bil'in 10:10:14, Attack of the Israeli armed forces on the Friday demo that we have not experienced for several years. Ten Israelis, and about two dozen international converged with the Bil'in activists at the Abu Lemon oak grove near the separation Wall. Before the march began, soldiers who were stationed near the oak grove arrested the Popular Committee member Mohammed Khatib and beat him to a pulp. They flooded the other demonstrators with tear gas. They also exploded a stun grenade under Rani Burnat car, before he could settle down in his wheelchair out of the car and immobilize the car which was later toed to the village. Gradually, they chased us with armored jeeps they pushed towards the village. We succeeded few time to regroup, but they pushed again and again till we entered the village. Attack like that had not happened more than two years. After over an hour and a half of pursuit the armed forces released Mohammed and left the the lands of the village not before firing live ammunition and arresting a boy who collected the used aluminum canisters.

Palestine-Israel,The joint struggle and the vicious Israeli transfer efforts

Arkib (1948 Bedouins), Bil'in, Dahams (Ramla 1948 village), East Jerusalem (occupied 1967 mainly Sheikh Jarah, Shuafat, and the Bedouins of the region) Ma'asarah, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, South of Hebron Hills - the main locations of the joint struggles the anarchists against the wall are involved in. As the Israeli pretending of striving for any kind of peace was exposed, the transfer efforts are intensified. It seems the hazards taking and gambling of Israel on the continuation of the occupation is increasing. The Israeli government count on the pro Israeli lobby of the US right and the strategic value of Israel in the present troubled time and recklessly disregard the mounting international pressure... though the Israeli officials and the public keep worrying in public about the economic and political pressures.

Bil'in

Friday 26.9.14: Nine Israelis, ten international and dozen Bil'iners (due to the competition of the demonstration at the same hours in Azaria in solidarity with the Bedouins) We made our presence in challenge of the presence of the armed forces of the State of Israel. When the armed forces decided that the confrontation is prolonged excessively, they started firing tear gas at us. Due to the changing wind currents, and our broad spread, they had to send at us their armored Jeeps and the bullies in order to force us to return to the village. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?

Ma'sara

Occupation forces Suppressed Al Ma'sara march which was set up by the popular committees against the wall on a weekly basis. Israeli occupation forces prevented the march from reaching confiscated land. The march raised slogans condemning the daily crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian. The popular Committees confirmed that settlement expansion in Bethlehem is a proof of the occupation's failure in implementing the settlement plans in other area and they called for unity of all the Palestinian people in front of these settler expansions.

Around 35 Palestinians, Israelis and internationals demonstrated today in Nabi Saleh against occupation, land grab, Wall and apartheid. Nabi Saleh is a 500 inhabitants village in the occupied West Bank. The non violent demonstrations have been taking place every Friday since 2009 . Today the IOF was suppressing the demonstrators using tear gas and rubber coated metal bullets.

South Hebron hills

Harassment of Palestinian farmers and shepherds in South Hebron hills by both settlers and the army continues. These forces take over their lands and prevent them from accessing it.
This coming Saturday, September 27, we will be heading again to our activity in several locations in the area, accompany Palestinian farmers and shepherds to their lands and help them stand up for their rights. Without the presence of activists, many farmers don't get the chance to cultivate their land. There is a direct link between the number of activists who come to accompany the farmers and their ability to live a relatively normal life.
Today (Saturday 27.9.14) at the South Hebron Hills, accompanying Palestinians shepherds to their land - a quiet morning with 6 herds in Um-el-Arais. Later we joined a small demonstration in Susya, near a new tent the Settlers had built on Palestinian land. In both places we met Rami, a Druze officer in the civil administration. The best collaborator the Israeli army can have to sustain the Occupation.

Don't Say We Didn't Know 421

On Sunday, September 14, 2014, four Palestinian shepherds from Qawawis village in the South Hebron Hills were grazing their herd near the illegal outpost Mitzpe Yair, accompanied by two international volunteers. They were grazing in an area that is Palestinian-owned. Suddenly two settlers from the outpost appeared and assaulted one of the shepherds. The volunteers filmed the goings-on. Then the settlers attacked the volunteers, grabbed their cameras and smashed a volunteer's cell phone. The assailants then ran off to the outpost. The shepherds and their accompaniers returned to their village. A while later, policemen arrived at the village and detained the assaulted shepherd and the volunteers for questioning for several hours, since the attackers claimed to the police that stones had been hurled at them.

Don’t Say We Didn't Know 422
For nearly ten years now, the people of the Palestinian village Bil'in in the occupied West Bank have been struggling against the separation fence and the erection of the Jewish settlement of Modi'in Ilit on their lands beyond the fence. The Israeli army often assaults the village and arrests inhabitants in order to suppress their struggle and obtain information about the protest activists in the village.
On Sunday, September 14th, 2014, two boys from Bil'in, 15-year old Ibrahim and 13-year old Ahmad Abu Rahma were on their way to school in the village. Soldiers who had entered the village arrested Ibrahim. A military judge ruled he could be released on bail of 5000 NIS. The boys had not carried out any act of aggression against the soldiers.

Palestine-Israel: The joint struggle confront the transfer efforts of the Israeli settler colonialist project*.

Though Israel failed in its last open assault on the Gaza Strip, it still succeed in its transfer efforts. The drowning of a refugee ship with 450 mainly Gaza people reflect the partial success of Israel transfer efforts that for the never ended efforts since 1948. The siege on Gaza join the pressure on both Palestinians within the 1948 borders and that of the 1967. The big masses were driven out during the 1948 and 1967 wars, but efforts continued with all means possible. Some expelled by force some were moved within the border as pressure to "voluntary transfer". Within the 1967 borders, the Israeli efforts are targeted on the villages and Bedouins living in area C where the joint struggle to resist it is mainly focused in the South of Hebron Hills. And the joint struggle in Arkib, Dahamsh (1948 borders), and Bil'in, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah (East Jerusalem) continue "as usual".

Bil'in

Friday 12-9-14 in. Bil'in: 6 Israeli and dozen internationals converged with the villagers at the Abu Lamun orchard. Before the demonstration started the Israeli state forces flooded the people with tear gas. Many went round the cloud of tear gas waking along the separation wall from a distance. As the wind changed the tear gas failed to drive the people away till military cars brought the soldiers nearer. Though there was no march or demo the commander threatened the people who were on the way to the village with arrests for participation in the "unlawful demo" that never really happened this Friday.
Any way, the Israeli activists paid this week their "rent" for the presence in Palestine.

Bil'in, Friday, 19-9-14 two stages of the demonstration in which 15 Israelis, 20 internationals, and local activists, converged near the separation wall in the Abu Lamun oaks groove and started to walk towards the near by separation wall.
The Israeli state forces did not like the location of the demo so they floated us with tear gas forcing us to go to the north - not far from the gate in the wall.
after a long while they did not like the second location which was out of the range of the tear gas grenades so they came with their armored cars shooting tear gas and bullets coated with rubber and arrested three of us - one from each nationality... The local one succeeded to escape and Israeli and the international activists were taken to a far away police station for "interrogation".

Friday 19-9-2014 - Even before the demonstration began, soldiers and Border Police forces assembled next to the convergence point. Without warning or provocation on the part of those who came to demonstrate, the occupation forces began to charge.They used massive amounts of tear gas. A group of three soldiers ran into the village and at some point I realized that they marked me.I stopped and did not resist arrest. Only about 4 hours later they bothered to tell me that I was accused of violating the military order that marks the entire area a "closed Military zone". I kept silent, refused to sign any document without consulting a lawyer. I was locked up with another two charming protesters from Bil'in and we were released later that night under the condition that we will not return to the area in the next 15 days. Assuming that the military order was not written after the fact, I allow myself to suppose These six photos that were taken before the arrest were taken before the validity of the order!

Don't Say We Didn't Know 419
This is how it works: The Israeli authorities intend to create a new settlement in Nu'eima, north of Jericho, for Bedouins expelled from the E1 Area (between Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim settlement). In the meantime Bedouin dwellings are being demolished before alternative ones are even being prepared. On Thursday, August 28, 2014, Israeli soldiers came to the Bedouin neighborhood next to Palestinian village A-Zayyim east of Jerusalem, and demolished five dwellings and three sheep-pens. 38 persons remained homeless. This is the third demolition the army has carried out at the site in the past two years.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't Say We Didn’t Know 420

In a press news item, the Israel Land Authority reported having demolished seven Bedouin dwellings in the Negev. Another 18 homes were demolished by their own inhabitants. The locations of the demolitions were not specified. ILA inspectors habitually threaten Bedouins that if they do not demolish their own homes, the "job" will be done by the ILA and inhabitants will be charged with the cost of the demolition and debris removal. Some fear this and do their own demolition.

Palestine-Israel, The joint struggle continue in lower intensity: last Friday only 3 Israelis came to Bil'in demo

Bil'in-Ni'ilin-Ma'asara-Nabi Saleh-Qaddum-Sheikh Jarrah- south of Hebron Hills

The 50 days war on Gaza ended, after Israel begged for a cease fire and yielded to major demands of the Hamas (some kept in secret even from Israeli government ministers). Majority of Israelis admit that Israel did not win the war but hard to admit the Hamas had the upper hand. Ministers passed two weeks ago Cabinet classified document containing a proposal to place an international force in Gaza which may mean the end of Israel occupation of the Gaza strip and opening the Ghetto... and may be a precedent to what may be the end of occupying of the west bank). In Israel, the "radical" left is back to "normal"... though many more activists are contemplating joining the comrades who had already lost hope and emigrated. It seems the international pressures of the imperial powers and the advances of the boycott movement are bringing sooner than expected the end of 1967 occupation.

Sheikh Jarrah

For five years residents of Sheikh Jarrah struggle against settlers takeover of their homes.
During the five years of struggle, the neighborhood knew many demonstrations, and outrageous settlers attacks.
Now the State of Israel has finally found someone to blame.
In the next week Salah Diab, a leader of the fight in the neighborhood, will enter to prison term for eight months.
Saleh, accused of assault by settlers "neighbors". He claims that he was not there. The court criticized the improper conduct of the police during the investigation, but then chose to believe the version of the settlers and the judgment of Saleh determined.
On Friday 29.8.2014 we returned to Sheikh Jarrah to say farewell to Saleh and ensure that the struggle will continue. About 100 participated in the vigil and in the march in the neighborhood (including a contingent of five of us just fresh from the Bil'in demo.)

Palestine-Israel, The war assault on Gaza failed to bring the expected results and even back fired

The war Israel started with the Hamas was intended to keep it weaker but independent of the west bank authority. A month and a half and Israel cannot stop the Hamas firing of rockets on Israel. The Hamas raised its demand about the lifting of the siege (closer) and the Israeli prime minister failed go get the support of his coalition for the needed compromise. To diminish the losses and to save face Israel with US backing are passing the decision to the UN security council the Israeli ruling elite evaded successfully so many years. The mounting economic pressures create cracks in the Israeli ruling elite and even the populist coalition party head - the foreign minister, start to promote the end of the 1967 occupation. And the joint popular grass root struggle continue - within Israel at the Arkib Bedouins as focus, Bil'in, Ma'asara, Neby Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarrah, South Hebron Hills.

Bilin

In spite of the heightened level of harassment of the Israeli state forces during the Gaza war, the joint struggle of Israelis, internationals, and Bil'iners persist in the efforts to try to march towards the gate in the separation wall. The previous Friday 15.8.14 we succeeded to reach the gate and even stay there for a while in spite of harassment. This Friday, in spite of a relatively large contingent of the Israeli anarchist-communist Ahdut (Unity) the Israeli state forces stopped us and after a short verbal confrontation they flooded us with tear gas and we retreated.

Nabi Saleh

22/08/2014 Israeli and international solidarity activists joined Palestinian residents of the Ramallah-district village of Nabi Saleh to protest against the ongoing massacre in Gaza. So far, over 2000 people have been killed in five weeks, the majority of whom were civilians.
The march, which began at the village's center, continued to the main road, where the IOF attempted to disperse it using barrages of tear gas and rubber coated steel bullets. No major injuries reported.

South Hebron Hills

Today 16-8-14 at the South Hebron Hills, accompanying Palestinian farmers to their land - quiet day. Grazing and working in the valley near Um-el-Amad which is closed by military order to Israelis (that's a good thing and it means success, after 2 years of struggle).

Tel Aviv

Saturday 23.8.2014 like every other Saturday of the last weeks:
Protest against the war and the massacre in Gaza, Israeli activists protest in center Tel Aviv against the Israeli attack on Gaza, calling to end the war and the.occupation...
This Saturday the police changed their tactics: instead of mobile fences, they "mingled with the protesters at the national theater square. After about half an hour when the late comers arrived, the police "suggested" that the few hundreds of us will march (for security reasons) through the near by boulevard towards a more central intersection which is a less opened space - which we cheerfully accepted.
