Palestine-Israel, The joint struggle in the focus of world media in a stormy week

Another stormy week of the joint struggle was in the focus of the world media as the sailing flotilla was continuously sabotaged by Israel and other bribed states. The Flying Flotilla joined the sailing one this week. The usual locations of struggle within Israel: of Arakib, Jerusalem , Lod-Ramla, Ben Gurion airfield, Tel-Aviv, and occupied Palestine:
Beit Ummar, Bil'in, East Jerusalem (Sheik-Jarrah, Silwan), Ma'asara, Ni'ilin, Nabi Saleh, South of Hebron hills, and the sporadic location of Karyut, Qadum, Tawna, and Walage. The storm in the public arena around the sea flotilla, the Flying Flotilla, and the new law banning calls to boycott the settler colonial industries and Israel as a whole (B.D.S.) show how a small number of activists can rock the settler colonialist project called Israel.

Bil'in

Friday
"Complementing its resistance against the occupation , Bil'in began the work of reconstruction in the liberated territory after the removal of the wall.
Confirming the continuation of resistance and popular struggle, the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in organized the march toward the liberated territory. They participated along with the people of Bil'in, dozens of international activists, and two dozens of Israelis of the AAtW.

The march began in front of the village mosque after Friday prayers ended. It proceeded in the direction of the liberated territory, where participants raised Palestinian flags and yellow flags of Fatah. Participants chanted slogans and chants of patriotism.

Upon their arrival the participants began work cleaning and removing thorns and stones from the ground in preparation to start the reconstruction phase. This includes the repair of the territory as well as preservation from attacks by settlers.

It is noteworthy that the settlers from the settlement Mitatyaho Mzrah, which is built illegally on Bil’in’s land and adjacent to the recently liberated land, marched this morning asking that the citizens of Bil’in not be allowed to access their reclaimed land. However, the occupying army used their strength to disperse the settlers.

Friday
Anarchists Against the Wall report: 6 Palestinian activists are detained in Atara checkpoint on way to Nabi Salah. They are held in the sun with no water since morning. One of them suffers from asthma attack, and gets no treatment. They're calling for the assistance of human rights organizations. 1 Palestinian girl got arrested and taken to prison.

Look on line for photo and report from Tamimi Press on today's action in Nabi Saleh, which also was in solidarity with the flotilla to Gaza. Photo of the "boat" built for the demo caught in a plum of teargas fired by Israeli Occupation Forces. I have included a google translation into English below of the report.

"An Israeli activist with the Anarchists Against the Wall, told me by telephone from Nabi Saleh that he has not seen a single ‘air flotilla’ passenger in the course of the day. He told me that four people were indeed arrested, but they were all Israeli Jews from Tel Aviv."

Ben Gurion international air field of Israel

"The Marhaba to Palestine campaign is aimed at protesting the ongoing travel restrictions imposed by Israel on those entering end exiting the Palestinian Authority areas, and the ongoing denial of Palestinian human rights. Usually, an international activist who wishes to visit Palestine has to conceal her/his political intentions when landing at Ben Gurion Airport, and disguise herself/himself as a tourist with a detailed tour plan. On July 8th plane-loads of international activists, 550 men and women, will land at Ben Gurion and declare openly "we are here to visit Palestine". We will wait for them at the airport starting at 13:00, all through the afternoon, until the arrival of all activists, with "welcome" signs, supporting them and expressing our solidarity. A bus to the airport will depart from the El-Al terminal, Arlozorov station (Tel Aviv) at 13:00. You are encouraged to arrive with your own car, all through the afternoon. To coordinate your arrival by car, call R."

"You will also be able to join the reception/demo after participating the Friday's demos. Please coordinate this in advance when you register for these demos.
Note: This event will not be a demonstration, only a welcoming activity.

The 8th of July is approaching and we need volunteers to arrange the "Marhaba gathering" campaign. please contact me via this email.
Your help is very much needed! Tomorrow! welcoming the Palestine tourists at the airport ! Join us!
R."

Friday, During the welcome action, some AAtW activists who succeeded to infiltrate through the special security road blocks were detained with local and international media reporting it.

Israeli by-standers jeered, and even assault Israeli activists while police just look on.

Tel Aviv

"According to recent updates including the publication of list of
passengers in the media, we are obligated to update you on the current
situation: all those who have not already been blocked in Europe would
be deported the moment they arrive and sent back on the plane they
arrived in. It seems as if any activist arriving at the airport is
likely to be arrested, even before entering the terminal hall - and we
inform you of that. Therefore, we will protest in Tel-Aviv this evening:
Between Hashalom and the Ministry of Immigration
We will meet at the cross road between Azrieli Center ("Hashalom") and
the Ministry of Interior
Dozens to be deported from TLV airport, 5 Israeli activists arrested
‎972mag.com
Some 150 ‘Welcome to Palestine’ activists reportedly arrested to be expelled soon. Some were barred from entering Israel and sent immediately back. Few hundreds others banned from boarding flights and most demonstrated at the air ports.

Tonight at 17:00
Please come with the "Welcome to Palestine" signs and the flowers we
intended to bring when welcoming those at the airport, along with
other signs as you see fit.

About 20 of us demonstrated for an hour in front of the various ministries offices center - including the home office which is responsible for blocking entrance to Israel.

“WE NEVER FINISHED 1948” THE CONTINUING CAMPAIGN OF INTERNAL DISPLACEMENT IN ISRAEL/PALESTINE
A new project by the photographers collective Activestills
"For us, the ongoing Occupation is not merely an event arising out of the 1967 war, but a continuation of 1948, conceptually and militarily. That “we have not finished 1948,” a slogan commonly heard in Israel and attributed to Moshe Dayan, refers to the fact that half the population of the Land of Israel is now Palestinian. "
